Jonathan D. Grossberg, J.D., LL.M. (Taxation) is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and New York. Jonathan currently lives in Wynnewood, PA. Until August, he was assistant professor of taxation at Robert Morris University (RMU) in Moon Township, PA. At RMU, Jonathan taught Taxes II to undergraduate accounting students and tax research, corporate tax, and international tax to graduate students in the master of science in taxation program. Before entering academia, Jonathan clerked for Judge Gale of the U.S. Tax Court and practiced tax law at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in Philadelphia and Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York. Jonathan has written articles for academic and practitioner publications and made CLE/CPE presentations to lawyers and accountants on a variety of topics including judicial doctrines in tax law, partnership tax, tax issues facing small businesses, and universal basic income, among other topics.
Jonathan D. Grossberg is an active member of the Accountant-Lawyer Alliance (ALA). He serves as a Speciality Leader in the ALA’s Tax and Compliance LinkedIn Group, where he acts as a subject matter expert, content moderator, and liaison with the business community. He periodically lectures on tax topics in the ALA’s continuing education programs for certified public accountants and attorneys. Jonathan also serves as a member of the ALA’s Advisory Board.
